Clemmons, NC

It feels great to be Back On the Road Again! There is something about being on the road discovering new adventures that gets our blood flowing really good. We are now in Clemmons, North Carolina just south of Winston-Salem. This is a beautiful area that we have visited several times in the past and have enjoyed our stays. This time we are staying at “The Best Ever” municipal RV park at Tanglewood Park. I alway thought James Island County Park in Charleston, SC was the best municipal until now. This park runs circles around James Island. They have a championship golf course, water park, first class tennis courts, historical house turned into a B&B, hard surface hiking trails, mountain bike trails and so much more that you have to check out their website.

A nice 2 + mile loop next to the RV park.
The park has a nice horse facility with a steeple chase and race track.
Something new for us, SoftGolf. This game is made for families on green grass with special clubs and using a 4 inch golf ball.

  1. Very nice to see you guys back on the road! Here is to safe journeys and nice memories to both of you!.
Pam and I had 8 camping trips scheduled for this year, mostly 3 to 4 day weekend types. Feb, Mar, April, and May were canceled due to Covid. Our June trip (we just got back home) was our 1st 2 week trip. Spent the 1st week at South Myrtle Beach (very cold and semi-rainy), and the 2nd week at Hungry Mother State Park outside Marion Va (turned out excellent cool and nice weather!). Looking forward to next moth already! but for now back to work for me… 😉

Say something, love to hear from you!
