The NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) Winter Nationals features national top US drag racers. My brother-n-law Mark who lives here got us some super seats in front of the christmas tree (the light that goes green for racers to GO!)
For the month of February we are staying in Desert Hot Springs (The Sands RV & Golf Resort) just a few miles from Palm Springs California. We came here to spend time with Denise’s brother Mark and wife Wendy who lives in the area. The resort is a 55+ active gated community with many fun thing to do. I have been able to play golf and pickle ball twice a week and meet many interesting snowbirds mostly from the northwest US and Canada.
I love drag races!! So fun! This looks awesome! I’ll have to show it to Jace – I bet he’ll love the pictures! Your place sounds nice too – Ahh retired life! Love y’all!
Jace would definitely love watching. He would need ear plugs though, it is so loud!

I heard Mt Baldy is a nice mountain resort area. Pretty busy in the winter months being so close to LA.
