Jacksonville.

Our day started off sunny & bright but with rain predicted later in the day. We left Pensacola thinking maybe we should stay here a little longer. But Florida in the winter will not allow such thinking. If you have not booked a place well in advance then you are just wishing, hoping, dreaming or maybe you have a feeling of being lucky, the plain fact, it ain’t going to happen. So off we are to our next pre-planned destination, Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, Jacksonville. This is a totally downtime destination for us with no planned things to do but R&R for three days.

Our Campsite.
Campground

Hanna Park has all the amenities that we enjoy. It’s right on the ocean with 1.5 miles of beach, over 20 miles of bike trails for the hardcore mountain bikers, a 60-acre fresh water fishing lake, and many hiking trails through the Florida Coastal Hammock.  Life is good here!

Some beach time!
Some mountain biking time!
Doing the South Trail, 4.7 mile ride. It was great!
Some hiking time!
3 mile trek through the Coastal Hammocks.
