Something about being around water that attracts us. Our current destination is Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It’s a wide spot on the Colorado River. We were lucky enough to get a nice RV site right on beach of the lake. The weather is in the 70’s, the sun is intense and the sunsets are amazing.
A fellow travel blogger wrote about a desert bar that is a great destination for lunch not to far from where we are staying. He wrote that it will require a high clearance vehicle and we will have to take a dirt road several miles into the desert. We were game for the challenge plus it has live music.
We are Staying at:
Lake Havasu State Park. We are in site 36 with 50amp electrical and water. It is a lake front site with plenty of room between sites. We paid $35/night. This park is located in the heart of Lake Havasu City. We would definitely stay here again.
